The Golden Cross is the oldest pub in Coventry and is located in the medieval heart of the city built around 1583 , the Golden Cross is located on Hay Lane, near the Cathedral, and is one of the oldest surviving medieval timber framed buildings in Coventry..

The pub hosts regular gigs featuring the best local bands from Coventry and Warwickshire.
This makes it an ideal place to play for young up and coming bands.

The Cross as it's affectionately known is like two pubs in one. Upstairs there is a glam rock, light gothic club theme with chandeliers and church pews whilst downstairs there are cushioned benches and seats all around.
