VISITENGLAND VAQAS Cotswold Tourism Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2013

Batsford Arboretum

GL56 9AD

Wander through 56 acres of wild gardens, paths and streams and marvel at stunning views across the Evenlode Valley beyond. Enjoy early colour from the snowdrops, spring-flowering bulbs and spectacular Japanese flowering cherries; escape the heat under the tree canopy in summer and prepare to be amazed by the outstanding autumn colour!

You’ll find fabulous lunches, afternoon teas and cakes in the Garden Terrace Café where you can soak up the sun from the wooden deck before treating yourself to some retail therapy in the Applestore – an Aladdin’s Cave of shabby chic interiors and gifts – or paying a visit to the resident Woodturner.

Browse the Garden Centre and pick up expert gardening tips – and everything you need for the garden and allotment - from the knowledgeable staff. The visitor centre is also home to the Gift Shop – full to bursting with hundreds of gift ideas you won’t find on the high street.
