Set in the heart of Warwickshire, Draycote Water near to Rugby offers water sports, fishing, wetlands, nature trails and bird hides.

The Country Park covers 21 acres on the southern side of Draycote Water. Watch the sailing activities on the reservoir and view the surrounding countryside with the open slopes being popular for walking and kite flying. Wheelchair access.
Picnic area, toilets, hilltop car park.
Access to Reservoir Road (owned by Severn Trent) for cycling and walking.

Please note that the Visitor Centre is now closed.Toilet facilities will continue to be available in the country park. A mobile catering unit will be onsite serving hot food and drinks (hours vary). The fishery is CLOSED for the 2010 season.

Opening details

The site is open every day except for Christmas Day and occasional special events, from 8.00am until 7.00pm.

Free admission to park although car parking fees apply.
Please note dogs are not allowed around the reservoir, although they are welcome in the country park.


Nearest major road is A426. Take the A426 from Dunchurch towards Southam.
Draycote Water Country Park is situated near the village of Kytes Hardwick.
Approx. 2 miles from Dunchurch.
On the A426 Road, south of Rugby.
