Surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside, Packwood is a place of dreams and adventure. The house was lovingly restored at the beginning of the 20th century by Graham Baron Ash, and outside the beautiful flower borders, sculpted Yew gardens, woodland welly walks and lake mean there’s always something to suit your mood.
Explore the welly walk through the woods, take a stroll along the avenue of Chestnuts, wander round the lake or go further a field and ramble across the countryside. Whatever you fancy we’ve got maps and trails to get you started.
Find peace and quiet in the gardens, gently making your way around the graceful flower borders finding hidden views. Lose yourself in the Yew garden, or soak up the atmosphere of the rich interiors in the house.
Feel like something new?
Throughout 2012 our new visitor reception, food shop and café will be taking shape. Located in the car park it will mean a slightly different start to your visit, but we hope you’ll enjoy seeing the building progress throughout the year and come back for the opening summer 2013.
