Sit back and enjoy waitress service at Compton Verney's award-winning restaurant as you choose from a menu of freshly prepared food. Perfect for lunch or a traditional afternoon tea. Child friendly options available.

Our café is open Bank Holidays, school holidays and weekends, serving light snacks, hot and cold drinks. A great meeting point or pit stop for families.

Compton Verney's restaurant offers groups a wide selection of freshly prepared options. We pride ourselves on sourcing our food from local producers and suppliers wherever possible, to reduce our carbon footprint, support our local community and ensure the quality and freshness of our food.

The restaurant is waitress-serviced and licensed, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.

Groups choosing our pre-set bookable menu also benefit from reserved seating in our busy restaurant. These menus start at just £1.95 for morning coffee, £6 for lunch and £4.50 for afternoon tea.

If the members of your group prefer to eat individually they can choose from our menu of home-cooked hot meals, lighter options, children's meals, cakes, desserts and seasonal specials.

Covers - 80. Pre-booked groups over 32 will be offered two sittings. Morning coffee at 11am can seat up to 50.

Open from 15 February – 15 December 2014, Tuesday – Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Restaurant open 11am – 4.30pm, lunch served 12noon – 3pm.

Café open Bank Holidays, school holidays and weekends, 11am – 4.30pm.

Adult £8.00, Concessions £7.20, Family £16.00, Child (5-15) £3.00, Under 5's Free.

Exhibition, collections & grounds admission:
Adult £15.00, Concessions £13.50, Family £30.00, Child (5-15) £3.00, Under 5's Free.

All prices include Gift Aid.

Pre-booked adult groups of 15+ receive discounted admission, free introductory talk and special offers in the café. There is also a designated area for coach parking.

  • Access Statement We aim to be fully accessible to disabled visitors. Disabled parking: in the main car-park for our wheelchair friendly woodland walks. Plus, spaces in front of the gallery for blue badge holders visiting the gallery and cafe. Visitors can also be dropped off at the gallery. Large print guides and wheelchairs available.
