Shakespeare Country has a number of truly wonderful outdoor settings that are used for concerts throughout the summer.
Both Ragley Hall in Alcester, Warwickshire and Althorp Park in Northants are the setting for spectacular Battle Proms Concerts on Saturday 11th (Althorp Park) and Saturday 18th August (Ragley Hall).
Warwick Castle have announced the first of their summer 2012 concerts - Jessie J - on Friday 13th July with details of more concerts to follow shortly.

On Saturday 11 August, thousands of people are expected to pack up the picnic hampers and the champers and come together for the fifth annual Battle Proms picnic and firework concert at Althorp Park. The well-known high quality programme of music, displays and spectacular pyrotechnics will this year include an exciting addition in the form of Blades Aerobatic Display Team, who are based locally at Sywell Aerodrome just outside Northampton.
There will be a full two hour programme of exquisite classical music performed by the renowned New English Concert Orchestra, plus of course all of the ‘Last Night of the Proms' favourites performed by Channel 4's winning soprano Denise Leigh. Audiences will also be treated to a tear-jerking aerial display from a WWII Spitfire, over 200 live cannons, mounted Napoleonic skill-at-arms displays and breathtaking fireworks to music.
The Blades are a leading display team of former Red Arrows pilots renowned worldwide for flying precision aerobatics to the highest level within a dynamic and cutting edge display.

An unrivalled blend of musical talent, expert displays, spectacular pyrotechnics and a celebratory atmosphere makes the Battle Proms a truly memorable occasion!
This event came back last year to Ragley Hall after a 10 year break, and received an incredibly warm reception from thousands of locals who were thrilled to see the return of the Battle Proms.
