There are a number of Smartphone Apps covering the main towns (Coventry, Stratford upon Avon) and some of the main attractions (Holy Trinity Church, Shakespeare Houses) in Shakespeare Country, either currently available or scheduled to become available during 2012/3.

Eye Shakespeare
May 2012 marked the first public launch of the Eye Shakespeare App from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. This version, was a 'Live BETA Test' version and after ironing out a few wrinkles the App is now available to the public on the iTunes App Store. Have a quick look at the Finding Shakespeare blog for a preview of the App before downloading it. The Birthplace Trust are encouraging the public to engage with this early version of the app - testing its accessibility and functionality. There will be frequent upgrades to the app made every month with the public's feedback in mind so get on board and help us to develop the App!
