Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is home to the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Surrounded by over 2,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland, the palace was created a World Heritage Site in 1987.

Conceived in 1705 by Sir John Vanbrugh, Blenheim Palace is a masterpiece of English Baroque architecture. Explore the rooms where Sir Winston Churchill was born before taking a guided tour around the magnificent State Rooms graced with priceless portraits, exquisite porcelain and magnificent tapestries.

A new permanent visitor experience 'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story' is open inside the palace bringing to life enticing tales of the last 300 years, seen through the eyes of the household staff.

The Formal Gardens include the Secret Garden, Water Terraces and Rose Garden as well as the Grand Cascade and lake. A miniature train takes you to the Pleasure Gardens where you can find the Marlborough Maze, adventure play area, giant chess and the Butterfly House.
