Royal Shakespeare Theatre
The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon have now closed for transformation which will see them re-developed to create the most dynamic space for performing and enjoying Shakespeare. The transformation project is due for completion in 2010.
The Royal Shakespeare Company continue to perform throughout the project at the 1,000 seat Courtyard Theatre which was opened in 2006. The Courtyard Theatre's auditorium will be a template for the new Royal Shakespeare Theatre. For further details of the project please visit www.rsc.org.uk/transformation .

Stratford-upon-Avon, located in Warwickshire, is just a short drive from Junction 15 of the M40, giving good access to the M42, M5, M6 and M25. There are a number of pay and display car parks in town, as well as metered street parking (free after 6pm). There are a variety of car parks in Stratford-upon-Avon which charge a fee. The car park closest to The Courtyard Theatre is on Church Street (open Mon - Fri, 6pm - midnight, Sat and Bank Holidays all day).
