Womens Bowls National Championship at Royal Leamington Spa

Come along and watch England’s top women bowlers compete in this annual outdoor flat green bowls tournament.

The event draws together qualifiers from 35 counties across England – with more than 1,000 competitors taking to the famous greens during the fortnight.

Tony Allcock MBE, Bowls England Chief Executive, says, “The Women’s National Championships are one of the highlights of the summer season, both for players and the thousands of spectators who attend. The finals have been held in Royal Leamington Spa now since 1975 and we are looking forward to a fortnight of top class bowling. I would encourage bowlers and non-bowlers to come down and see some of the country’s best players in action.”

Entry to the Championships is free and refreshments are available on site. Play runs each day from approximately 9am-6pm.
