Visitors of all ages are warmly welcomed to this award-winning art gallery. Housed in a grade I listed mansion re-modelled by Robert Adam in the 1760s and surrounded by stunning 'Capability' Brown landscaped parkland, Compton Verney offers a great day out.

Be enthralled by our programme of exhibitions, which in 2013l includes Bellini, Botticelli and Titian...500 Years of Italian Art, Turner and Constable: Sketching from Nature, works from the Tate Collection, Re-Viewing the Landscape: A contemporary response and Curious Beasts: Prints from the British Musum.

Explore artworks from around the world with our fantastic permanent collection, including Europe's finest display of Chinese Bronzes, paintings from the 'Golden Age' of Italian art, and the largest collection of British Folk Art in the UK.

Enjoy a refreshing break in our fully licensed, waitress service café or relax outside with a picnic and a stroll along our woodland footpaths.

    We aim to be fully accessible to disabled visitors. Disabled parking: in the main car-park for our wheelchair friendly woodland walks. Plus, spaces in front of the gallery for blue badge holders visiting the gallery and cafe. Visitors can also be dropped off at the gallery. Large print guides and wheelchairs available.
