The New Bulls Head

The New Bulls Head first appeared in the town records in 1834 with a Mr John Timms as the Licensee, and has since seen many names 'above its door'.

In times past, the pub has been known as 'The Sports Man' and 'The West End' and now in 2013 the premises returns to its Origins, once again becoming 'The New Bulls Head'.

This Public house has been an integral part of The Old Town in the west of Stratford Upon Avon for the best part of 200 years and many changes have happened to what is now an attractive residential area. The Old Town has seen many changes in and around the area, and for those wishing to learn more there are a number of old Pictures and photographs displayed in the pub, as well as a booklet.

The New Bulls Head is one of only two pubs in Stratford upon Avon to be listed in the 2012 Good Pub Guide and has been awarded the Cask Marque for the quality of the beer.

All our food is freshly prepared in the kitchen by our resident chef, and we source the best quality ingredients from locally based suppliers wherever we can - not least of which is award winning Barry the Butcher who supplies all our meat.

Our lunchtime menu offers a wide choice of light bites to full meals and is served Monday to Saturday Lunchtimes between 12:00 and 14:00.

Our evening menu changes every month and provides a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options, and is served between 18:00 and 21:00 from Monday to Saturday.

Our evening menu is also available from 12:00 to 14:30 every Sunday, along with a Sunday Roast.

Special boards are available every day.

Children aged 12 years and under are welcome with adults who dine in the restaurant between 12:00 noon and 14:00 and 18:00 pm and 20:30 pm.
