Murder Mystery Weekend - Dying to Tell You at Best Western Grosvenor Hotel

On behalf of the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel and “It’s Murder”, we would like to introduce you to our Murder Mystery Weekend. Over the course of a Murder Mystery weekend, you’ll get the chance to investigate some unusual happenings and try to identify a murderer.

It’s 1947 and you are all actors and actresses who have been invited to a party being held to celebrate the resumption of film making at Pynewood Studios after the war. The auditions for Stefan Spellbinder’s latest block-busting movie “Dying to Tell You” are to be held in the morning and everyone who is anyone in the film world will be at tonight’s “star studded” gala.
Come either dressed as famous actors and actresses of the era, 1940s costume or black tie

Murder Mystery Weekend Sample Itinerary

FRIDAY
From 2.00pm Arrive at the hotel at your leisure and check into your bedrooms
7.30pm Gather in the Lounge Bar and meet other guests -there may even be a Murder!
8.00pm Three course sit down dinner served in a function room
10.30pm The evening concludes

SATURDAY
7.30am – 10.00am Full English breakfast in the Garden Room Restaurant
10.00am – 12.00noon The mystery continues in the function room with your chance to interrogate suspects
7.30pm The fun resumes in the Lounge Bar
8.00pm Three course sit down dinner served in the function room
10.30pm The evening concludes

SUNDAY
8.00am- 10.00am Full English breakfast in the Garden Room Restaurant
10.00am – 12.00am Meet in the function room where the Murderer is identified – those with the most accurate clues win!
