Murder Mystery Weekend - A Date With Death at Best Western Grosvenor Hotel

On behalf of the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel and “It’s Murder”, we would like to introduce you to our Murder Mystery Weekend. Over the course of a Murder Mystery weekend, you’ll get the chance to investigate some unusual happenings and try to identify a murderer.

Private Detective Jimmy Bonde has spent the last year trying to track down the killer of his close friend and partner Sam Spayed. Sam had been keeping entrepreneur Adam Tycune under surveillance, whom he suspected of laundering money through Tony Valentine’s nightclub “Hearts”, but before Sam could pursue this further he was stabbed to death in a back alley behind “Hearts”.
Come and help us unravel this 1970s murder mystery, flares and platform shoes are optional!

Murder Mystery Weekend Sample Itinerary

FRIDAY
From 2.00pm Arrive at the hotel at your leisure and check into your bedrooms
7.30pm Gather in the Lounge Bar and meet other guests -there may even be a Murder!
8.00pm Three course sit down dinner served in a function room
10.30pm The evening concludes

SATURDAY
7.30am – 10.00am Full English breakfast in the Garden Room Restaurant
10.00am – 12.00noon The mystery continues in the function room with your chance to interrogate suspects
7.30pm The fun resumes in the Lounge Bar
8.00pm Three course sit down dinner served in the function room
10.30pm The evening concludes

SUNDAY
8.00am- 10.00am Full English breakfast in the Garden Room Restaurant
10.00am – 12.00am Meet in the function room where the Murderer is identified – those with the most accurate clues win!
