Details

The Stables sleeps up to 6 guests in three bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with twin beds.
One room has an ensuite and there is a also a family bathroom. Downstairs the open plan layout provides a sociable space for eating and relaxing. You will find a contemporary gas fire in the lounge area for the cooler months whilst for those warmer days, glazed doors open from the lounge onto a secluded walled courtyard ideal for summer BBQ’s, charcoal is available.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and cooking utensils. There is a flat screen TV with freeview, a DVD player and an iPod docking station together with wireless broadband. You will also find a selection of books, games and DVD’s for those quiet nights in.

The Tack Room is converted from the original groom’s quarters and is what we like to describe as ‘compact and bijoux, perfect for two!’ With the stairs leading from the living area up into the original groom’s bedroom which now offers modern comforts with a double bed made up with finest Egyptian cotton linen, and a stylish ensuite bathroom complete with bath and large shower. We also provide thick fluffy hand and bath towels.

As with the Stables, the property is well equipped with everything you need to make you self-catering stay stress free and comfortable.

There is on road parking directly outside or opposite the properties and an off road space is available for the Tack Room.

There are 4 golf courses in Stratford, all within easy reach, a Leisure Centre and a pay as you go luxury Spa and Health Club approximately one mile away. Stratford Race Course is popular with families on their special Family Race Days and is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute car journey. The famous RSC theatre sits on the banks of the Avon and the town offers a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants. Do not accept stag and hen parties.

Back Lodge Stables are located in Shottery, a 15 minute walk from Stratford town centre and just 1 mile from the train station.

Stratford-upon-Avon is geographically located in the historic heart of England. It is easy to reach from London, the Midlands and the North and is close to the M40, M42 and M6 motorway networks.

The town is a short drive from Junction 15 of the M40 and is well sign posted on all major routes from Coventry, Birmingham, Oxford, Banbury, Worcester and Evesham.

Regular, direct rail services operate from London (Chiltern Railways) and Birmingham (London Midland Railways) to
Stratford-upon-Avon.
