Active Zone at Coventry City Council HouseChildren's Activity EventNow in its 14th year, ActiveZone is a jam-packed diary of activities that is put together to keep kids occupied over the summer holidays. There is always a huge programme of events, with something for everyone whatever your interests. The scheme is run and funded by Coventry City Council. ActiveZone has grown in popularity and now boasts an attendance in excess of 20,000. The scheme runs for 6 weeks over the school holidays, at different venues all over the city and the majority of the events are free. The ActiveZone activities are designed to appeal to children across a broad age and interest range. The important thing is to get kids out of the homes and enjoying something different, meeting other kids on the way. Coventry City Council are rightly very proud of their ActiveZone Scheme, knowing that it is very much valued and appreciated by Coventry families. The ActiveZone 2006 programme is now available in all Coventry libraries and Tourist Information Centres and also online at www.coventry.gov.uk/activezoneCouncil House, Earl StreetCoventryWest MidlandsCV1 5RRUnited Kingdom52.407076261200-1.508966248400https://www.shakespeare-country.co.uk/?dms=3&pid=
