Fleet of vintage Edwardian passenger vessels departing for regular 40 minute river trips from our Boathouse in Swan's Nest Lane, or from the moorings on Bancroft Gardens next to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Free digital audio guides are available on-board to provide commentary of the sites found along the River Avon.
Group booking are accepted and special packages. Groups can be dropped off for lunch or dinner at The Bear pub and Le Bistrot Pierre at the Swan's Nest Hotel, or the Thai Boathouse restaurant. Larger events may be accommodated with a marquee on our lawn adjacent to the river, including buffet, barbecue and bar.
We also offer a river treasure hunt in small boats, and hire rowing boats, punts and self-drive motorboats by the hour. And by prior booking a special trip on our own Venetian Gondola.
Our Boathouse is only a short walk for the Pay & Display carpark on Swan's Nest Lane. Nearest public toilets are behind The View Fish & Chip Restaurant.

From Stratford town centre, cross over the road towards the river and go along Waterside. Avon Boating is on your left-hand on the river front within the Bancroft Gardens next to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Avon Boating Ltd is an outdoor visitor attraction. At no point do the general public enter a building. River bank is clearly marked. The general public are assisted in entering any water craft by trained staff members. Due to the nature of our boats we are unable to take wheel chairs aboard any of our water craft.
