Island Meadow Caravan ParkHoliday, Touring & Camping ParkIsland Meadow is a small secluded caravan park, set in rural Warwickshire. The seven acre island, formed by the River Alne and its mill race, provides a quiet and peaceful holiday setting.
Mature trees line the banks, and the mill pond with its weir offers good coarse fishing, which is free to guests.
All areas are flat and close-mown, and the island is a perfect centre for bird watching, walking, cycling or just relaxing and enjoying the English countryside. All the usual park amenities are provided, including a well-stocked, licensed shop.
There is no clubhouse or restaurant, but a short stroll through Mill Meadow and the churchyard of St. John's, where Shakespeare's parents were married brings you to the fifteenth century inn and the village of Aston Cantlow, so named after the de Cantilupe family, who settled here after the Norman conquest. In 1086 the Domesday Book valued the Mill at 8 shillings and 5 sticks of eels.

Holiday Homes: Privately owned holiday homes are located around the banks. All are connected to mains services, and each is carefully positioned to give the best possible view.
Self Catering: Overlooking the river, our caravans for hire are of a very high standard. In addition to mains services, these modern six-berth homes are equipped with colour television, full size cooker, microwave and refrigerator.
Touring: We reserve a two acre area for touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. Each of the spacious 24 pitches has a 10 amp electric hook-up.

Prior booking during peak periods is essential. There is no additional charge for an awning or adjacent pup tent. We also accept a few tents in the orchard and garden. Island Meadow is a friendly, family business, run by the owners Christine and Peter Lewis-Jones, their daughter Katharine. Our aim is to ensure that all Park guests enjoy a pleasant holiday in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

The Park is open between 1st March and 31st October.

By Road: From M40/42 junction 15. From the A3400 between Stratford and Henley-in-Arden or from the A46 between Stratford and Alcester follow the signs for Aston Cantlow. The park is 0.25 miles west of the village, off Mill Lane.

From Wilmcote train station - 2.5 miles Out of Wilmcote - follow Aston Cantlow sign, turn right at T-junction towards village. Follow caravan sign.
