Whether you're researching for school or college projects, university dissertations, family history or just want to know more about the history of your house, the History Centre is an invaluable free resource and an essential destination.
Currently the History Centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 12pm - 4pm. The service on Sunday is limited to the reading room only, with no document production from stores, but all other resources are available as normal.
An appointment system will be operating in the Research Room from 6 June 2012. Documents must be ordered no later than 3.30pm the day prior to your visit, and a time of day will be arranged for you to view them. The Research Room will not be open on Saturdays.
